The New Lady Liberty?

Interesting thought proposed on Twitter yesterday. Is this the kind of woman who is successful in America? The new Lady Liberty? 

It's a good question. The Kim Kardashians of the world are made famous through sex tapes and scandals. Porn stars are subjects of blockbuster films and are making their way into politics.

Helping women understand their worth, power, influence, and intelligence are my job. I work every day supporting women who are small business owners from emerging markets all over the world. 

They stomp all over the notion that women need to use their bodies to get ahead. I'm grateful for such strong women in my life. It doesn't matter if they live in Pakistan, Indonesia, Tonga, Malaysia, Haiti, or down the street from me.  

They have the same tenacity, gratitude, confidence, courage, and love for life. I learn far more from them, than they do from me!
