Luxury

The word luxury means different things to different people. I have several definitions myself... each slightly different. A few examples of what I consider luxury:

Time spent with family, a vacation without work, weekend getaways with best friends, Middle Eastern service standards, beautiful bed linens, 4 hours of dinner and conversation at a European outdoor cafe, coming home to a clean house, a back massage, finding the perfect dress for the occasion, beautiful shoes, an amazing chef, creative minds taking the time to share their ideas, a huge plush couch, having a driver, having uninterrupted time to meditate and contemplate, summer picnics with my parents and sister, a beautiful boat and open water, Paris.

Intertwining aesthetic beauty, a huge plush couch, and the Middle East, this is my definition of living room luxury.
This is the famous drawing room by Renzo. He created this 'Turkish Room' for Lee Radziwill, the baby sister of one of the world's most famous women, Jacqueline Onassis. Renzo designed this room with yards and yards of hand-blocked cotton fabric from India. Absolutely stunning. For an entire photo spread documenting Lee Radziwill's homes and tragic life story, check out the Cote de Texas blog.

Speaking of stunning......
